Ahh, Nashville! The city is the perfect blend of southern culture, New York flare, and Los Angeles stardom. For decades it’s been known as Music City, and let us tell you, it lives up to the name. Some of the biggest country artists have called Nashville home, and in the last 10 years, it’s become one of the top destinations in the country. But what should you do when you get there?

Fear not because we’ve put together the ultimate 3-day Nashville itinerary. Each day has 2-3 great activities, but feel free to move things around to match your preferences. At the end of the article, you’ll find some of the best eateries and cafes to choose from. So, let’s head on down to Music City!

Day 1

Country Music Hall of Fame

Start your trip at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Visiting the museum is one of the most popular things to do in Nashville, and it will give you an in-depth look at the genre’s most influential musicians and how the styles and sounds have changed over the years. There are over 2 million artifacts and several interactive exhibits to enjoy. You’ll leave the Country Music Hall of Fame having a newfound appreciation for the country genre and Nashville’s role in developing it!

Seigenthaler Pedestria Bridge

At the eastern end of the city, crossing the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge is one of those things you have to do in Nashville. It opened in 1909, and vehicles later became prohibited in 1998. Today it’s the perfect spot to enjoy views of Nashville from the multiple lookouts as you walk over the Cumberland River to the connecting parks. You’ll find parking near the bridge and shops to pop in and out of!

Honky Tonk Highway

Looking to have a fun night out in Nashville? Well, then, hitting the Honky Tonk Highway is a must! On the corner of 2 ^nd Avenue and Broadway (or 5 ^th Ave and Broadway), a row of bustling bars and honky-tonks keep the drinks and live music going until 3am. Check out spots like Honky Tonk Central, Layla’s Honky Tonk, and Legends Corner!

Day 2

Whiskey Distillery Tasting

Whiskey tasting, anyone? Within the city, you’ll find several great distilleries where you can see the whiskey-making process up close and personal. And, of course, you’ll have the chance to taste some of the finest creations in Nashville. Consider checking out Corsair Distillery, Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery, or Ole Smoky Distillery.

Throughout Nashville’s rise in the country music scene, Ryman Auditorium has been there every step of the way. The venue was built in 1892, and some of the biggest performers, including people like Charlie Chaplin and Harry Houdini, have graced its stage. The Parthenon

Over in Centennial Park, there’s a full-size recreation of the ancient temple (the Parthenon) found in Athens, Greece.
